Baron Maxime Brut Gold Reserve

Format: 75 cl bottle • Style: Sparkling Wine (Brut, non‑vintage) • Region: Languedoc‑Roussillon, France • ABV: ~11%

Terroir & Production

  • Grown in French vineyards with clay‑limestone soils, benefiting from good drainage and terroir expression.

  • Vines have an average age of around 20 years, ensuring developed root systems, balanced yields and depth of flavour.

  • The harvest is 100% hand‑picked, with strictly controlled yields to avoid oxidation and to preserve freshness and purity.

  • Made using the Méthode Traditionnelle, which means second fermentation takes place in the bottle, followed by lees‑aging for about 9 months, contributing to texture and complexity.

Tasting Profile

  • Appearance: Pale golden colour, with fine, persistent mousse (bubbles) that gives a lively and elegant effervescence.

  • Aroma: Aromatic notes of acacia blossoms, delicate peaches, along with subtle hints of citrus and floral undertones.

  • Palate: Soft and fresh entry; creamy mouthfeel with balanced acidity; flavours echo the nose—peaches, white flowers—smooth texture; clean, dry finish.
