Aged for up to eighteen years in Panama and finished in Spanish sherry oak casks, this expression stands apart from Bumbu's more criticised Original release by being legally classified as genuine rum in both the UK and EU, bottled at a respectable 40% ABV. Rich oak aromas dominate the nose with underlying tones of toffee and vanilla, developing into a flavourful burst of orange zest, spice and coffee complemented by the smooth taste of toffee and vanilla, closing long, warm and satisfying with lingering notes of coffee and spice that reflect the genuine complexity this aged small-batch craft rum delivers.
