Fris premium vodka bottle from Denmark, label close-up

Fris vodka bottle with frosted glass style label

Fris vodka bottle, ideal for cocktails and mixers

Freeze filtration sounds like a gimmick until you consider what it actually does: FRÏS pushes its grain-distilled spirit through filtration at sub-zero temperatures, stripping out impurities more effectively than standard filtering methods manage. Produced at Denmark's historic Aalborg Distillery and distilled four times before that freezing process, the result is a vodka built around Scandinavian precision, exceptionally smooth and crisp whether it's poured over ice or used as the clean base for a proper cocktail.

FAQs

What is freeze filtration and why does FRÏS use it?

It's a patented process that filters the vodka at sub-zero temperatures around -15°C, removing impurities more effectively than standard filtering and resulting in an especially clean, smooth finish.

Where is FRÏS Vodka produced?

It's made at the Aalborg Distillery in Denmark, one of Scandinavia's oldest distilleries, using whole-grain wheat as its base ingredient.

How many times is FRÏS Vodka distilled?

It undergoes four distillations before the freeze filtration process, contributing to its exceptionally clean and crisp character.

Is FRÏS Vodka suitable for cocktails or best neat?

It works well both ways — its clean, neutral profile makes it a strong cocktail base, while its smoothness also holds up well when served neat or ice-cold.

What is the ABV of FRÏS Vodka?

It's bottled at 37.5% ABV, the standard strength for many mainstream vodkas, balancing approachability with genuine spirit character.
